Key Features & Benefits
- COMPLETE 3-IN-1 MAINTENANCE SOLUTION: Save $16.00 instantly with this bundled kit. Includes (1) Heavy-Duty Propeller Storage Bag, (1) Floating Polymer Prop Wrench, and (1) Safety Stop Block.
- HEAVY-DUTY PROPELLER BAG: Constructed from industrial-grade 600-Denier nylon with reinforced padded sides. Protects your expensive prop from road debris during towing and prevents accidental injury to people walking near the stern.
- UNIVERSAL FITMENT: The bag is engineered to fit Bravo, Solas, Turning Point, Quicksilver, Mercury, Michigan Wheel, and Hydromotive style propellers (12″ – 15.5″ OD). Note: Duo-props require one bag per propeller when removed.
- NON-CORROSIVE TOOLS: The included high-visibility polymer wrench fits 1-1/16″ prop nuts (common on OMC motors >40HP and Mercury >50HP). It features a deep well for secure grip and a built-in 9/16″ drain plug tool. Unlike metal tools, it will never rust or scratch your drive finish.
- ENHANCED SAFETY: The Prop Stop Block safely wedges between the prop blade and anti-cavitation plate, locking the propeller in place for torque application. No more using blocks of wood or risking hand injuries during prop changes.
- SECURE & TRAVEL READY: The bag features high-strength hook-and-loop closures that stay secure at highway speeds, plus dedicated interior pockets for your locking tab, keeper, and nut. Grommet holes allow for locking the bag to the outdrive for theft deterrence.
Detailed Product Description
Protect Your Prop. Protect Your People. Simplify Your Maintenance.
The Hardline Products® Propeller Bag, Wrench, and Stop Block Combo is the essential “captain’s kit” for any serious boater. We have combined our three most popular propeller accessories into a single, value-packed SKU that ensures you are ready for the road and the water.
The Bag: Transportation & Storage Safety Your propeller is one of the most vital (and expensive) parts of your vessel. Our Propeller Bag acts as a shield, preventing dings and scratches while the boat is being towed or stored. More importantly, it covers the sharp edges of the blades, protecting children, pets, and fellow boaters from accidental cuts while moving around the trailer.
The Wrench: Emergency Ready Don’t get stranded with a spun hub. Our lightweight, non-corrosive polymer wrench is designed to live on your boat. It floats, it won’t rust, and its long handle provides the leverage needed to break loose stubborn nuts. We’ve even integrated a square drain plug remover on the back, making it a dual-purpose tool for winterizing or fluid changes.
The Stop Block: The Right Way to Change a Prop Stop risking your hands or your prop blades by using improvised tools to hold the prop steady. The Hardline Products® Prop Stop Block is a dedicated injection-molded tool that safely immobilizes the propeller, allowing you to torque or loosen the nut without slippage.

FAQ’s
Q: Can I use this bag for storage and trailering? A: Our prop bags are designed for trailering and storage. Tailored fit on propeller keeps bag on when trailering. Soft foam sides and carrying straps make it great for storage in a locker.
Q: Where do I put my prop-nut and thrust washer? A: Our propeller bags have an inside pocket to store your hardware in when not in use.
Q: What are the eyelets for in the edge of the propeller bag? A: Use these eyelets if you want to cable lock your bag to your outdrive.
Q: Do I need to secure the bag when trailering? A: No, just fold over the flaps so the velcro grabs on to itself. Your propeller bag has a tight fit so it won’t come off when trailering.
Q: The Propeller Bag is hard to put on, any advice? A: Put the bag on one propeller ear at a time, don’t try to slip the whole bag over the prop all at once. Work your way around sliding each propeller ear in a little bit until the whole bag is on the propeller and you can secure the velcro edges.
Q: Will this propeller bag fit duo-props? A: Yes, only if the props are removed and stored one to a bag. It will not fit duo-props mounted on the drive.
Q: Will this propeller bag fit a 5 blade? A: Yes, as long as you don’t exceed 15.5″ diameter.
Q: What do I use if I have a bigger propeller than 15.5″? A: Use part number PRO-18000 (click here) which fits up to 18″ diameter propellers, standard ear or cleavers.
Q: Is the same propeller bag I see on MTI’s and DCB’s? A: Yes, We supply these brands as well as many others.
Q: Will this propeller bag fit on outboards? A: Yes.
Q: Will this propeller bag fit on inboards? A: Yes.
Q: Will this propeller bag fit on stern-drives? A: Yes.
Q: Will this propeller bag fit on propellers for mud motors? A: yes, but it will be loose. only use for storage not trailering.
Q: Do these propeller bags help protect kids playing around the back of the boat on or off the trailer? A: Yes.
Q: How do I use the propeller block? A: Slip the slotted end of the propeller block onto your cavitation plate, this will hold the block there while you spin the wrench. The ear of the propeller will butt up to the block allowing you to loosen the propeller nut.
