Most dune parks, OHV areas, and shared-use trail systems require a visibility flag, especially for smaller bikes that get lost in the dust at adult eye level. Hardline Products manufactures bike safety flags sized for 50cc motorcycles, ATVs, SXS, and small platforms, with three mount options to fit different chassis designs. The minidirt bike flag setups in this sub-category use a 5.5-foot whip pole and a high-visibility pennant that can be spotted from across the dunes or down the trail. The ATV, SXS, and UTV flags use a 7’ pole and flag.
Featuring our three safety flag kits:
Premium 5.5′ Safety Whip & Mount for 50cc Motorcycles: a 5.5-foot whip pole with a high-visibility pennant and a chain adjuster mount that bolts to the rear axle hardware.
Premium Safety Flag Kit with Billet Aluminum Mount: the same 5.5-foot whip and pennant with a machined billet aluminum mount for bikes that need a different mounting solution.
7’ Premium Safety Flag Kit with Steel Pinch Bolt Mounting kit: Designed for ATV, SXS, UTV, and snowmobile with Reflective Orange Flag.
Kits include the pole, pennant, and mount hardware needed for installation.
A flag mount that doesn’t fit cleanly comes loose at the worst time, usually mid-dune or mid-trail. The chain adjuster mount uses the rear axle hardware that’s already there, which makes it the simpler option for most 50cc bikes. The billet aluminum mount is the right choice for bikes where the chain adjuster doesn’t have room for a flag bracket, or where a stiffer mount is needed for taller flags or rough terrain. The full-size 7’ flags use a ½” pinch bolt design to fit in existing OEM mounts.
Pick the mount based on your bike. Most 50cc dirt bikes use the chain adjuster mount; check that your rear axle hardware has room for the bracket. If not, the billet aluminum mount is the alternative. Plan a backup pennant since pennants are the most common failure point. Family programs running multiple bikes should standardize on one mount type across the group. For wholesale terms on dirt bike flags and bike safety flags setups, contact us.
