Most state OHV systems require ATV registration on the machine, and Hardline Products® manufactures off-road license plate kits that handle that compliance cleanly. Instead of sticking vinyl numbers straight to plastic fenders that bend and flex, our kits use heavy-duty PVC plates that hold the registration sequence on a rigid surface. The plate mounts to the machine with bolts or hook-and-loop straps, and the ATV decals on the plate stay readable through a season of mud, dust, and washing. The lineup covers both white and black plate options to match whatever color your state requires.
Vinyl decals applied directly to a fender are not legal. State guidelines require your “Numbers” to be mounted on a plate and displayed at the rear of the vehicle, just like your car or truck. Our PVC plate solves the problem with a rigid, smooth surface that the decals bond to permanently. The plate then mounts to the machine with either bolts or hook-and-loop straps, depending on the model. UTV registration on a side-by-side and ATV registration on a quad work the same way: the plate is the durable part, and the decals on it stay readable.
Pick the plate color that contrasts best with your state’s required number color (white plate for black numbers, black plate for white numbers). If your machine has a flat panel that takes bolts cleanly, the standard bolt-mount kit is enough; if not, pick the kit with hook-and-loop straps. Custom builders and serious enthusiasts should look at the Custom Background Wrap upgrade. For wholesale pricing on ATV registration kits and UTV registration plate kits, contact us.
