Key Features & Benefits
- Distinctive “Factory-Matched” Design Say goodbye to generic hardware store stickers. Our Series 400 font features a solid beveled interior with a contrasting outline and a sophisticated left-to-right color gradation. The slightly slanted, aerodynamic typeface adds a sense of speed and modern style to your hull.
- Superior Marine-Grade Durability Built to withstand the harshest marine environments, these decals are crafted from heavy-duty 4-mil Outdoor Marine Vinyl. Treated with a high-gloss UV coating, they are engineered to resist fading from intense sun exposure, fuel spills, and abrasion from docks or debris.
- Complete Hull Coverage Each kit contains 146 decals, including four (4) of each letter (A-Z) and four (4) of each number (0-9). This ensures you have ample characters to mark both the Port (left) and Starboard (right) sides of your vessel, with extras for spares.
- Universal Surface Adhesion Featuring our proprietary Super-Stick Adhesive™, these decals bond securely to a wide variety of marine surfaces, including Gel-Coat, Fiberglass, Aluminum, Painted Metal, Wood, SMC, and Plastic.
- Safety & Compliance Rest easy knowing your vessel meets regulations. When installed correctly, our 3-inch block characters meet all US Coast Guard and state registration guidelines for visibility and legibility.

Q: The state assigned me a registration number with a sequence that has 3 of the same number or letter in it, now I am short one decal can you help? A: Yes! email us your registration number and the part number you purchased and we will send you the extra decals you need.
Q: How do I get my numbers nice and straight? A: Lightly scribe a line with a ruler and pencil to get a guide or use painters tape instead. We also make a product called Sticker-On! that allows you to move your decals around until they are nice and straight and then it dries. Click Here! to Order Sticker-On! While not required, we recommend our Professional Installation Kit that will help with the entire application and removal process. Click Here!
Q: I don’t want to bother with applying the decals what else can you do? A: We can pre-arrange your decals on transfer tape for the easiest installation. Just click on “Custom Build It for Me” on any our decal kits, enter your desired registration number and we will assemble your registration numbers on easy to use transfer tape and ship it out to you.
Q: Does Sticker-On! help my decals stick better? A: No, Sticker-On! does not add to the adhesive quality of decals.
Q: I have old decals I want to remove what is the best method? A: Use a hair-dryer or heat gun on low to warm up the decals and peel. We recommend Sticker-OFF! to help remove any adhesive left behind from your old decals. Click Here! for Sticker-OFF!
While not required, we recommend our Professional Installation Kit that will help with the entire application and removal process. Click Here! to Order
Q: Peeling these old decals is difficult, do you have a better solution? A: Yes, use our plastic razor-blades to safely remove old decals. Click Here! to Order
Q: Do your decals meet US Coast Guard guidelines? A: Yes, the USCG provides “Guidelines” for registration numbers and the states follow these guidelines. Our decals meet these guidelines when installed correctly and have been USCG committee reviewed.
Q: What is the biggest point to remember when picking out decals for my vessel? A: Choose a color combination that contrasts with your application area (hull) so your numbers are easily readable.
Q:Will my decals stick to a plastic boat? A: Yes, most injection molded boats have a smooth surface that the decals can adhere to. Sometimes plastic boats still have a left-over coating of “Mold Release” on the boat that can deter decal adhesion.
Q: I am having a hard time getting my decals to stick to my kayak or plastic boat, what do I do? A: Wipe down the application are with denatured alcohol then wash the application area with soapy water with detergent like Dawn or Simple Green. Let the boat sit in the sun a few days after that to “Gas Off” any remaining residues in the plastic.
Q: Can I use these decals on my Inflatable Boat? A: For inflatable boats we recommend using our registration plates with our decals. Click Here! to review plate options.
Q: Can I use these decals on my pontoon boat? A: Yes! Aluminum or fiberglass.
Q: Can I use these decals on my SeaDoo Spark? A: Yes but with some additional preparation. Sea-Doo Sparks have an injection molded hull, many times there is still “Mold Release” still in the material that needs to “Gas Off”. Here’s what to do; Wipe down your application area with denatured alcohol (always test first on small inconspicuous area before doing whole application area). Wash your application area with soapy water with a detergent like Dawn or Simple Green. Remove storage tubs, seat etc. and let your Spark sit out in the sun for a few days to finish “Gassing Off”. You want as much air to flow through as possible. Then apply your decals. We also recommend using this sticker kit for Sea Doo Sparks, Click Here!
Q: What does “Factory Matched” mean on your packaging? A: Because we are a private label manufacturer for many brands of boats and PWC we have access to their color codes. From that inside information we create registration kits that match your vessel but keep you legal with USCG guidelines when installed correctly.
Q: I just need a few black or white decals do you have those? A: Yes, offer single letter and number decals as well sold in packs of 10. Click Here!
Features & Operation
Q: What determines the quality of a decal? A: Decals quality is determined by designed use. We use outdoor calendared vinyl specifically designed for the UV environment and outdoor use. Many people think “Thickness of a Decal” is associated with quality, it is not. It does not matter how thick a decal is if it was not designed for outdoor use it will fail.
Q: Are your decals reflective? A: No we do not do reflective registration decals because this could be a navigational hindrance to other boats at night.
Q: How do you come up with your color combinations? A: We choose color combinations that are going to keep you legal but also work with the colors in your vessel. We work closely with the major manufactures to be inline with the latest colors being use.
Q: How do you make your decals last? A: All our decals are made with UV Solvent based inks and UV Clear Coats and are Lead-Free.
Q: What size are your decals? A: Federal and state guidelines call for a minimum of 3″ on Vessels. Our decals meet this requirement.
Q: How wide are your decals? A: Depending on the font and the specific character 1.25″ or larger. Our sizing was specifically designed to make sure they will fit in the designated area on your vessel or PWC.
Q: Where on the hull do I install my registration decals? A: The USCG and State guideline is “Registration Decals Shall Be Displayed on the Forward Half of the Hull above the Bond Line.” The “Bond Line” statement can be confusing because it is based on old nomenclature in the USCG handbook. For Boats: put the decals below your rub-rail on the forward half of the hull.
For PWC: put the decals above the rub-rail on the forward half of the hull.
For Pontoons: put the decals on the forward half of the ” Fence, Gate, Panel or Railing”.
Q: Is there enough decals in your kit to do Port and Starboard sides of my vessel? A: Yes. Also, note some states like Florida are now only requiring registration numbers for the port side.
Q:What is your customer service number? A: Call us at 1-888-413-8315 7am-5pm EST, M-F. We are based in Stuart Florida and we answer the phone! Or you can email [email protected] and we will respond as soon as possible.
